Vice President of Josh McDowell Ministries and His Companions Visited CCC/TSPM

On the morning of September 3, 2010, John led a group of 5 visited CCC/TSPM and had a meeting with the leadership of CCC/TSPM.


Elder Fu Xianwei, Chair of the National Committee of Three-Self Patriotic Movement of the Protestant Church in China, said that publication ministry has remained one of our major concerns, because it is related to the development of the church as well as the evangelization work. It has been for many years that CCC/TSPM first got into cooperation with Josh McDowell Ministries. Elder Fu expressed the wishes to have further collaborations in the future. He also introduced to visitors about the present church situation in China.


Mr. John mentioned that the purpose of their visit this time is to seek common opportunities to publish more materials with CCC/TSPM. He said that Josh McDowell Ministries would like to offer its resource to meet needs of CCC/TSPM. Mr. John also extended an invitation to CCC/TSPM to send some colleagues to visit McDowell¡¯s office in Dallas. He said that Josh McDowell would like to pay a visit to CCC/TSPM some time next year.


Rev. Xu Xiaohong, Secretary General of National TSPM briefly introduced the publication ministry of the church in China. He mentioned that CCC/TSPM is exploring a breakthrough for the publication work. He expressed his willingness to develop future collaborations in multiple ways, say training of Christian writers, etc..


Rev. Bao Zhimin, Deputy Director of the Publication Department and Ms. Gu Jingqin, Secretary of the Overseas Relations Department joined the meeting.



After the meeting, gifts were presented, and a group photo was taken.
