BGEA Delegation Visiting CCC/TSPM

On the morning of June 7, 2010, Rev. Franklin Graham, President of BGEA and CEO of Samaritan¡¯s Purse, led a delegation of 13 to visit CCC/TSPM. Elder Fu Xianwei, Chair of National TSPM, Rev. Gao Feng, President of CCC, Rev. Shen Xuebin and Ms. Jin Wei, Vice Chair of National TSPM, Rev. Xu Xiaohong, Secretary-General of National TSPM, Rev. Kan Baoping, General Secretary of CCC and Rev. Bao Jiayuan, Associate General Secretary of CCC as well as some other colleagues of CCC/TSPM received the visiting delegation and had a constructive talk.




Elder Fu extended sincere and warm welcome to the guests on behalf of CCC/TSPM. Elder Fu also expressed his gratitude to Rev. Graham¡¯s generosity for donating 2 million RMB yuan to support the rehabilitation work in Wenchuan area. Rev. Graham is not only a good friend to the church in China, but also has shown his concern to everyone that is in need. Elder Fu said that it¡¯s the basis on of communications and cooperation, and it helps to promote the friendship and various ministries of both sides. Rev. Graham also expressed his happiness to visit China again and regarded it a privilege to count God¡¯s grace with his counterparts in China. He wished to continue the friendship and his willingness to help with the church in China of its ministries.




Rev. Gao Feng gave a brief account of today¡¯s church in China. He also expressed his respect and greetings to Rev. Billy Graham, the founder of BGEA. Afterwards, Rev. Shen Xuebin, Rev. Bao Jiayuan, Rev. Bao Zhimin and Mr, Wang Baocheng made introduction of various ministries respectively, e.g. urban church ministry, training ministry, publication ministry and diconal ministry, etc.




Upon hearing the introduction of the relief work done by CCC/TSPM in Yushu, Rev. Graham expressed his concern, and decided to donate $100,000. All were deeply impressed by his love and compassion.


After the meeting, gifts are presented, photos taken. The delegation was invited to visit the bookstore as well as the restored Holy Trinity Church.
