On the morning of October 19, a delegation consisting of 17 members of the Anglican Church of Korea led by Archbishop Keun Sang Kim visited CCC/TSPM.

Rev. Kan Baoping, General Secretary of CCC, welcomed visitors on behalf of CCC/TSPM, and he conveyed regards of Elder Fu Xianwei and Rev. Gao Feng. Rev. Kan reviewed good relationship between CCC/TSPM and churches in Korea over the years. Churches of two countries have had a number of exchanges of visits. He wished both sides to continue the friendship on the basis of mutual respect, understanding and trust.

Rev. Xu Xiaohong, Secretary-General of National TSPM, presented the current situation of the church in China by PPT. Rev. Xu pointed out that the Church in China is in the best historical moment for its rapid development by the Grace of God. This year is the 60th anniversary of the Three-self Patriotic Movement. With God¡¯s blessings, the Church in China is facing the world with a brand new image.

Mr. Wang Baocheng, Deputy Director of Social Service Department, introduced diakonal work of CCC/TSPM to the guests.

After listening to the presentations, Archbishop Kim expressed that he was deeply inspired. He said that though the Anglican Church is not a large church in South Korea, however, it has invested a great amount of resource into diakonal work, e.g. children¡¯s autism and nurseries for the elderly. Up to 2009, 2.4 million people have been benefited by its service and help. All visitors all expressed their gratitude towards the hospitality of CCC/TSPM and wished their expectations of future exchanges and more profound dialogues.

Chiefs of Overseas Relations Department, Publication Department, Research Department and Social Service Department attended the reception. At the end, gifts are exchanged followed by a tour at the Holy Trinity Church.
